American style fish sandwich – Hot dog style

Preparation
Lightly slice open the hot dog bun and – if desired – warm it briefly or toast it so that it becomes nice and soft with a slight crunch.
Spread mustard on the inside to create a flavourful base.
Evenly distribute the herring fillets in tomato sauce with pickled cucumbers inside the bun.
Top with a few slices of pickled cucumber to add freshness and tartness.
Finally, top with fried onions and serve immediately.
