The Curaçao fish roll

Ingredients for one portion
Ready in approx. 10 minutes

1 Can Appel Herring Fillets in hot Sauce with Mango and Chili
1 Brioche Bun
1 fried plantains (cooking bananas)
spring onions
1 fresh chilli
Lime juice
1 Can Appel Herring Fillets in hot Sauce with Mango and Chili
1 Brioche Bun
1 fried plantains (cooking bananas)
spring onions
1 fresh chilli
Lime juice
Preparation

Fry the plantains (cooking bananas) in a frying pan until golden brown on both sides.

Toast the brioche bun briefly until it is slightly crispy.

Place the Appel herring fillets – ‘Passion’ – mango and chilli on the bottom half of the bun.

Spread the fried plantains (cooking bananas) evenly over the top.

Garnish with spring onions and fresh chilli.

Add a splash of lime juice, assemble the bun and serve.
