Preparation
Cut the rye rolls in half and set the bottom halves aside.
Spread the Appel herring fillets in a creamy horseradish sauce evenly over the bottom half of the roll.
Then top with rings of red onion and slices of gherkin.
Garnish with fresh dill to give the roll a fresh touch.
Place the top half of the roll on top and serve the roll straight away.
