Herring noodle casserole
Ingredients for two to three portions

200 g | Pasta (e.g. penne, fusilli or farfalle) |
200 g | Strained tomatoes |
10 | Cherry tomatoes |
100 g | grated cheese (e.g. Gouda, Emmental or mozzarella) |
as required | Pepper, salt |

grated cheese (e.g. Gouda, Emmental or mozzarella)

Preparation

Place the pre-cooked pasta in an ovenproof dish.

Cut the herring fillets into bite-sized pieces and add to the tomato and mozzarella sauce and stir in.

Mix with the strained tomatoes, halved cherry tomatoes, salt and pepper.

Mix everything thoroughly and then sprinkle grated cheese on top.

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake the casserole at 180 °C (top/bottom heat) for approx. 30 minutes until the cheese is golden brown.
