Potato and herring gratin
Ingredients for four portions

800 g | Potatoes |
250 ml | Cream |
250 ml | Milk |
250 g | Gratin cheese |
1 TBSP | Vegetable bouillon powder |
as required | Nutmeg |

Preparation

Peel the potatoes and cut into thin slices.

In a bowl, mix the cream and milk with the vegetable bouillon powder and nutmeg, pepper and salt to taste.

Pour the cream mixture evenly over the potato slices in a baking dish and spread well.

Cut the herring fillets in spicy tomato sauce into pieces and fold into the potatoes.

Spread the cheese of your choice over the gratin.

Bake at 180 degrees top/bottom heat for about 40-50 minutes until golden brown and the potatoes are soft.
