Tacos with salsa picante herring

Preparation

Finely dice the tomatoes, peppers and onions.

Also cut the herring fillets in salsa picante into small pieces.

Heat the hardshell taco shells in the oven according to the instructions on the packet.

Place the diced tomatoes, bell peppers and onions and the pieces of herring fillets evenly into the warm taco shells. Spread the salsa sauce from the can over the filling to add extra flavor.

Garnish with fresh coriander if desired and serve with lime wedges.
