Tortilla wraps with herring fillets in pepper sauce
1 Can | Appel tender fillets of herring in pepper sauce |
2 | Wheat tortillas |
200 g | Rocket |
150 g | red bell peppers |
1 | Onion |
1 | ripe avocado |
splash of lemon juice |

Wash the rocket thoroughly and shake dry. Cut the bell pepper and onion into thin strips. Cut the avocado in half, remove the stone and scoop out the flesh with a spoon. Then mash the avocado flesh with a fork, add a splash of lemon juice and season with salt and pepper.

Spread the wheat tortillas out on a work surface. Spread the herring fillets from the pepper sauce evenly over the tortillas. Then add the rocket, bell peppers and onion strips. Finally, spread the avocado cream over the top in blobs.

Fold the tortillas in slightly at the sides, then roll them up tightly from the bottom to the top so that the filling remains secure.

Cut the wraps in half and arrange on a plate. Optionally, they can be held in place with a skewer to make eating easier.
